I have been working with Gina Alessi to purchase my house and want everyone to know what a great experience it was. My husband and I used Portland Real Estate Group to buy our first house and everyone associated with them were very helpful and friendly. We were always able to speak with someone when we had questions no matter what time of day. The website made it easy to look for properties that fit with what we were looking for. The whole process was quick and easy.

I terminated the listing agreement today with Portland Real Estate Group, a division of Keller Williams Realty, Inc. after just 11 days on the market due to outrageously poor and unprofessional service. I won't name the agent I worked with because I believe the issues are institutional based with the company as a whole. Here are examples of how bad it was: 1. "Coming soon" sign at my property delivered four days late 2. Lockbox delivered a day after listing went live on the RMLS and only after I had to remind the agent 3. Failure to provide sales flyers, booties and other minimal normal requirements for showings and open houses. This was after 11 days on the market and after repeated requests. 4. Agent showed up 10 minutes after the start of an open house without notification. Also, didn't bring appetizers and beverages per agreement, and even taped handwritten "open house" signs to the for sale sign. Totally unprofessional. 5. Extreme communication issues even after I addressed them in writing. I continued to get "lip service" and unfulfilled promises that persisted right up until the end. Over 20 examples of written and verbal promises from the agent that were either not fulfilled or done up to several days late. 6. Lack of effective realtor advice and direction including staging, pricing, market trends, etc. 7. Lack of customer focus proven by me having to chase after the agent for follow-up and communication. At one point, I was even told that if I listed my home with anyone else it wouldn't sell! Please understand that I was extremely patient with the agent to take corrective action during the process. I have bought and sold five homes in the last 19 years, and have worked with many realtors. This was the worst experience I have ever had in selling a home and couldn't possibly recommend them to anyone. Again, I was forced to terminate the listing agreement and pull my house off the market. I will be re-listing with "professional" representation in the next 10 days.
