The Harn Museum at UF is dedicated to promoting the power of the arts to inspire and educate people and enrich their lives. More than 10,000 works are represented in the museum's collections of African, Asian, modern and contemporary art, and photography.

Story

Admission to the Harn Museum of Art is free.
Parking is available for $4 per day, or $.25 per 15 minutes in a metered spot, up to 45 minutes. Parking is free on weekends.

It's beautiful, it's clean, and you can't beat the price! One of the things I enjoy about this museum is they have a seating area outside of their shop where you could sit down and have a bite to eat. There is also a commissary in the basement. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

With the open clean space, and donation based entry its unbeatable and easily over 3 hours worth of art to see. The quality and variety is phenomenal. They commonly cycle out exhibits every 3 to 6 months. If you get thirsty from your walking they also have a cafe with really good coffee!

This was really cool to go here and see all the different stuff they have amassed in their collection. My personal favorite is the Claude Monet painting on display, as I stared at these in textbooks growing up. Make sure to visit the gift shop for some unique gifts. Also, make sure you don’t wear noisy shoes, it’s very quiet.

I just love walking around here it just makes me happy. 😄 I like seeing Clyde( I named him that) the rusty red horse sculpture. And my favorite game is guess where they moved the Monet painting too.🤔

Staff is very picky, would not let me carry my backpack as intended. I had to take it off and carry it in my arms. Nice and quiet, enjoyed viewing all of the art work and you can't beat the price, by donation. Please consider a donation based on the value you received.
