My husband and I were shopping for new night stands. The woman here was very pleasant and showed us products that matched what we were looking for. The pricing was quite shockingly high here. When we said that  we were shopping around and not ready to buy yet, we felt that she got a bit pushy. Other than that we had an ok experience. Clean, nice place.

BUYER BEWARE! I purchased a sectional on August 19th and was told by the salesperson that I could pick it up anytime after August 23rd. What a joke! I got an email around August 21 saying that I couldn't pick up till October 5. I had arranged to rent a trailer, etc.... How could the salesperson & the checkout person in the office not have known that it wasn't going to be available until October? I think they DO know they don't have the stuff, but don't care and won't tell you because they just want your money! My decision to buy that sectional would have been NO if I had known that I was actually ordering something that was going to take a couple of months to get. Before you buy anything from this store, make sure someone tells you the truth about product availability! Also, when you think you are talking to the Charlottesville store, you may be talking to someone in Atlanta who cares even less.

This company is a joke. My wife and I visited their brand new store in Charlottesville VA on Sunday and purchased a new sectional couch. The salesperson explained that we would be able to pick up the couch on Tuesday, from the store. We paid and everything seemed great. 

I made plans to rent a van and have my old couch taken by the local habitat for humanity. So here we are on Tuesday and I call Havertys Furniture to confirm that my couch had arrived, this is where the fun begins. Havertys' "Top Shelf" customer service tells me that not only is my couch not at the store but the first available pick up date was in the first week of December! I explained that this couldn't be correct so she transferred me to the store. After talking to a salesperson and a manager for about 45 minutes (2/3 of that time on hold) I still do not know when my couch will be arriving, apparently it should be a week or so, I won't hold my breath.

So now I am out $125 for renting the van and will not have a couch in my living room for who knows how long. You live and you learn I guess. Grand's will most likely be getting the rest of my business for furnishing my place.
