This tour is a must for anyone who loves history and anyone who loves to be amazed by how things change and also stay the same. This was a fun and great time capsule and the town deserves my $15 for keeping these stories alive and relevant!!! I LOVED it!!

Pretty cool place. After a devastating fire shop owners set up business in the basements of thier businesses. This type shows you a few of them.

I had family out of town and my boys ages 3 and 18mos with me. They admit children given that 5 years and under are free of admission. We'll, let's just say that our $60 (4 adults $15 a pop) were a waste of money. Our tour guide started shushing my boy the moment the tour started and kept getting worse and worse because the tension of having to keep him quiet and the never ending talking just didn't sit well with him...or any kid for that matter! He was excited about things and of course being the 3 year old that he is he wanted to tell us. We try to use an inside voice but being interrupted was unacceptable to the guide. I am a polite person and am aware of others so I don't let my kids run wild, never, but this was beyond stressful for him, myself and my family who kept trying to help me handle the boys. If they're going to admit children then they need to make this a little more interactive. Neverending talk is no fun for anyone. I know it's a museum but it wouldn't hurt to bring a few things that kids can touch ...after all it does cost the adults $15 to be there. It's not like it's free for everyone. So in short, if you'll admit people of all ages them make it appealing to all ages!
