Very service-oriented, very technically capable, and very personable accountants. The latter description is not in error--these folks go beyond counting beans and balancing accounts and actually get to know their clients and their businesses and offer insights, recommendations, and support that help build those businesses. Highly recommended.

Although I've only used HCS for around a year and a half, they have a lifelong client in me. They are fast, professional, helpful, and extremely knowledgeable. I use them for tax preparation and to manage the payroll and 401k plan on my small business. The tax savings that they have brought me, alone, have paid for their services many times over. When I came to them, I was a disorganized single member LLC with no bookkeeping, and they helped me sort this out and make a plan to keep my books.

I worked with these guys for over 10 years. They were personable and professional. I very much enjoyed my association with them and would recommend them to anyone.

I have been trying to get a W2 from my employer who has been using their services for over 2 months now. Once I finally got it, they sent me a 1099, which I was not self employed, then i was sent a W2 that was missing line 1, which is the wages, and after that got fixed, they forgot to put on my employers state ID #. I don't know if it's incompetence from just one employee, but I'm glad I'm not going to have to deal with them again. This has been a total nightmare.
