I loved this place! We got 3 beautiful hens 1 year old, 8 months old and 6 months old. The workers there were a great help and very humorous. One guy put a chick on his head! Very inexpensive for the quality of these hens. $10 each week more they grow in the store. Thank you Hawthorn!

Always a great experience! Very friendly and helpful. If there's something you want they don't have, they will do what they can to get it. Once a year they do chick day. If you plan on getting chickens, this is the place. They have an amazing variety. Recommend getting there as early as possible, at least a couple of hours. Employees are very knowledgeable so if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. If you need feed or hay they have it. You don't have to carry it either. Just make sure to let them know at the register and they will radio it out to the warehouse and they take it to your vehicle. They have a great section for food preservation, a decent book section for the DIYer, a good selection for bovine and equine care from tack to vaccines, along with administering equipment. If your into bee keeping or starting out with it they have the basics to get you going. Never a bad experience, awesome family business!

So rude. I didn't realize they had closed at 6pm. So when I arrived at 6:02 I asked one of the staff members if they had just closed he just walked past me. 3 feet away, no eye contact. Nothing. Probably mid 40s light haired male. Lacking human decency, a simple "Yeah we did. 6 pm, sorry!" Would have been fine. Guess he just wasn't raised right. I will go elsewhere for my livestock feed.

For livestock care & supplies to seeds and planting, the best option for Inland North County.  Always a good selection of chicks and chickens, go in spring for ducks. Often goats, pea-fowl, and others to choose from depending on season.  Extensive horse gear from riding to roping.  Bulk feed, from alfalfa to horse, dog, rabbit and fowl feed.  Reasonable prices & helpful staff.  Will load alfalfa and straw bales onto your truck.  Also decent work & western wear for rodeo or line dancing.

To call something a hidden gem seems so cliche buy this place truly is. Awesome store to buy everything you need from rustic decor to true farm supplies and daily pet supplies or feed. Everything is top notch and the staff is incredibly helpful.
