Growing up, my parents trusted Dr. Slocum with our family dogs, which has been over 30 years since we first walked in to that clinic for a routine check up and vaccinations for our first lab puppy Clyde. Dr. Slocum took care of him not only for routine physicals and vaccinations but also saw him through puppy Parvo, salmon poisoning, and most importantly when it came time to say goodbye to our dear old friend at an old age of 17, Dr. Slocum was there. The love and compassion that this vet clinic has shown me and my family all throughout these many years makes it an easy choice to choose this place for everything to do with the health of our household four legged family members!!!

I don't belong but friend went while I waited. Had a weird vibe that felt low rent but was way more expensive than mine. She was given meds that were way over priced and available otc. Someone came in with a shepherd that had a bloody neck from collar rubbing it raw and jacked up nails etc. They didn't do anything. It should have been reported. I said something but it was brushed off. They were very busy but the hours are kind of weird with a 2 hr lunch break for vet yet lots of techs milling around doing nothing. I may be being a bit unfair because I didn't actually try the service but the ones I overheard and saw etc. Didn't sit right and I would not take my baby there.

Very impressed with Hazel Dell Animal Hospital, very kind and caring. Only place I will take my pet now, I highly recommend them.
