My cat and I attempted to go in for his one year comprehensive exam that I had scheduled a week in advance. When we arrived, the front desk chick said that the appointment is a drop off and he will be seen in several hours.. I said hold on, I specifically made the appointment for my cat to be seen with my presence there because I have questions for the Dr. The lady was very rude and short with me in response with 'The Dr. is in surgery right now It looks like you're going to have to reschedule.' I replied with WHAT? HUH? Are you joking, I made an APPOINTMENT. No one called me to inform me that this was a DROP OFF appointment and to just surrender my cat so he can spend endless hours in a cage and apparently they cannot give you an estimate on when you can come pick up your pet..HA not on my watch. Not to mention this was the only day convenient for us and we made the apt WELL in advance. This is a terrible medical facility with the least knowledgeable staff I have ever witnessed, even from our cats initial appointment what they told us made no sense. I have medical knowledge as I'm an RN, and I can assure you that these people do everything behind closed doors which is very unusual, even vaccines. We have the year cat health plan for our kitty and are SO happy to say we will be getting him an ACTUAL health insurance plan at a real Vet clinic with an ACTUAL Vet to care for him. People let me warn you, Banfield Pet Hospitals are in fact not Veterinary Clinics and they do not provide medical services that a legit clinic will offer. Don't waste your money and jeopardize your pet's health for this pathetic excuse of a "pet hospital."

Went in to get our dogs flea pill and again her veterinarian had left the company so they wouldn't fill her prescription without another $45 dollar exame with the new vet. So what? We have to pay $45 dollars everytime our dog's vet quits and walks out the door which so far is twice in 10 months. This is rediculas and I'm never bringing my dog there again. I'll take her to a privately owned and operated veterinarian clinic from now on so we dont have to worry about an under paid vet walking out on their client's. Hope it was worth losing a customer by refusing to fill our dogs prescription.

Front counter failure. Brought my dog in for fear he may have injested something dangerous, which is what I made the appointment for. Arrived and checked my pup in, soon a print out is presented. "we recommend doing these items" none of which addressed the primary concern (over $200 est.) . I reminded her why I made the appointment. Then another print out comes, this time it's over $600, this is all with their "wellness plan" which I'm starting to realize is not a good deal at all. This vet office is ran like a jiffy lube oil change center, they try and force all these unnecessary "upsales" in order to up their average repair order while doing unnecessary procedures to your animal. Also the woman at the front counter was rude and my dog was not Ok with her entering his space and growled at her when she attempted to leash him. Said we are going to have to charge more for an aggressive dog to do his nails, I said Ok. Another vet tech comes out and my dog has no issue with her. She takes him back and within five minutes she brings him out done. She says he was fine, he let me put the muzzle on and was no problem when trimming his nails.....they still charged me for an aggressive dog just because he didn't like the front counter lady. The problem was her not my dog and I got charged for it! Strike three : gave them a fecal sample and paid to have it tested. No return call to tell me the findings. Poor management, and a general disregard of customers time and money. I will not return to this location and will never submit to another one of their wellness plans. .... Oh and don't expect your animal to get looked at by the actual veterinarian doctor, I was told when I arrived that the vet wasn't in yet. I asked should I wait until that person gets here? She said, no cause when they arrive they have to go right into surgery.....ok,great talk.

Outrageously priced! Check a cat for possible broken front leg (it wasn't) - over $500!!
