Unfortunately I had to find out this place has such compassionate employees when My Boston Terrier passed away. My vet clinic was closed, but recommends this one in off hours. My Dog passed away, and we took her here, to be sent to be cremated. (we were bringing her to be put to sleep, but she passed before we got there) They were so warm and comforting. They put us in a room to say goodbye, and went through he process with us. Thank you for being so caring! After all this, they sent us a sympathy card. We also received a paw print made with her paw. All the small touches really were comforting. Thank you!

I cannot say enough good about Columbia River Veterinary Specialist.  On Christmas day our boxer/lab couldn't get up.  The staff at CRVS were very kind, supportive, caring and professional.  The doctor was honest and straight forward with the prognosis. Everyone did all they could under a very difficult time of decision and helped up say good bye to our faithful companion.

Shelled out all of my money for no answers, to leave with pet in worse shape and to be told "yeah I don't have pets because I can't afford them". Definitely didn't need that. We got the cat 6 years ago before life happened. Clean facility. Definitely see where the extra money is spent that other facilities don't charge, beautiful ccoffee maker and vending machine. Wish I didn't feel more lost than when I went in. Really bummed, I heard this place was great.

Ophthalmology walk-in visit to Dr Darrow. The front staff was very nice and the tech even remembered getting the referral call from VCA and took my cat, Eggs, straight to the doctor. Also, the tech loves Harry Potter so they get 5 stars just for that -HP fam for life.

In all seriousness, my cat has to get his eye removed after previous medical treatment failed. Dr Darrow was very thorough in describing how the eye eroded so quickly, what was currently wrong, and what all my options were (treatment, time, budget, and viability of success -as much as you can estimate). She was clear about the timeline and in offering as many resources as possible. 

I had great service for a walk-in referral. Great place.

Unfortunately I had to make a hard decision to put my 17 year old dog down because she stopped eating and was in pain. The staff was so caring!! They took me in the comfort room with my dog and came in to comfort me and my very sick dog. They explained Everything that was going to take place and gave me private time with my dog!! Then the Dr. Came in and was so compassion!! He was awesome!! Then when I went to pick up her ashes she was in this beautiful urn and a plaque with her footprints and a beautiful wristband and  a letter about her!! You are all awesome!! Bless you!!
