Could be nice... Signed up for one year membership with discounted enrollment plus $55 monthly fee, starts the membership at Jan 1st, 2017 (technically starts at Jan 2rd because the gym closed on the 1st), then few days later as Jan 3rd, got this fancy looking 3 folds coupon mailed to me specifically with my name printed on it offers $0 enrollment. Went to talk to the front desk, a woman I talked to was very nice and she was going to help me to honor the coupon, but the saleswoman who had signed me up at the first place insisted the $0 enrollment does not apply to me because she said she already gave me the discount, or she would gives me an option with $0 enrollment and an increased $57 monthly fee! The worst part was she even claimed she didn't know who had sent out this coupon! Yeah, now you raised the monthly charge then sent out WHO KNOWS WHO SENT COUPONS to "fish" for new members? And why do you even send these coupons out if you are not going to honor them? Oh, by the way, I was told by this saleswoman the rate was not locked even I signed up for one year, they could raise the fees as high as they like at any time the contract ends. If you go on their website (to this day), you will not find any information on how much $$ you suppose to pay for each term of memberships which means she holds all the balls in her court, such as raise the monthly fee then gives out free, discounted enrollment or she can just say the promotion does not apply to me even they had went that great length had printed out a coupon with my name on it! How Clever!! Really upset, thought was a very decent place but plays such an unethical, dishonest game. Why do you need to practice your sales strategy like that? Be a bit nicer, people would be willingly give you the money and happily support you even you already charge more than doubled or even tripled to other gyms.

I have been a member of the Wellness Center for the past 4 years now. Instructors and classes are great . Unfortunately, some people at the front desk are racist with latinos! Several times I have been waiting for service and a white person step in , they take care of them even when I was waiting before them. I haven't complain before because I want to give them the benefit of the doubt but at this point, it has been pretty obvious. I hope that someone from upper management read this post and take care of this inexcusable behavior immediately specially when Florida Hospital is committed to excellence they shouldn't allow this discriminatory service.

We have been coming here off and on for 4 years now (off time due to cancer) and returned only to be declined for military discount even with our military ID's. They have to have the Soldier come in person, strange since so often Soldiers are away on deployments. If they are going to do that then they should say Soldier discount if they are going to deny the dependents. So my active duty dependent son's cannot get the discount. After having been a military family since 1990 I can say that seeing my family denied a military discount is disgraceful and will no longer support this facility in anyway. So often business's claim they support the military and behind closed doors they do not, thus we see when business's turn their back on the military children and families. Thumbs down from us

Gets a bad rap for being "too expensive", but I feel it's pretty close to on par with other wellness center style gyms. Couples/families get a price break which makes it more reasonable. What it may lack in weight lifting selection, it makes up for with pools, locker room layout, and cleanliness. Technogym machines are a bit lacking, some range of motion seem off or uncomfortable. Smoothie stand seems overpriced by about 20%. Note, this isn't a "gym", it's a wellness center, you feel good walking in, and better when you leave. If you're looking more for power, high intensity, or "grunt" weightlifting, this probably isn't the place.

Great local place to workout. Huge listing of classes and very well maintained. No problems getting access to equipment. Improvements would be , get rid of key chains at checkin, allow online confirmation for classes, instead of expecting a 30 min early arrival.
