Avoid renting with this company if you can. Thought I was moving into a dream rental. Tons of room and storage space, but it turned out to be a nightmare. House has rodents, is poorly insulated and even though I stated on the move-in check list that walls needed to be painted in every room upon move out I was charged for walls to be painted in certain rooms. Once I discussed the property with someone and they asked who owned it, I informed them that I was not aware of who owned the property but I told them it was managed by Heart of Texas Rentals and they were like oh, they don't repair s***, my daughter rents from them and is ready to move. Which is a very true statement as the A/C unit leaked in August and when I moved out at the end of October repairs still had not been made. Two weeks after the leak the house had the distinct smell of mold and my son and I stopped staying at the property for health reasons. Once I locate the move-in paperwork I will take that along with my video walk through at move out and see if its worth fighting for the deposit that was kept for things that were messed up when I moved in.

Avoid at ALL cost rented 3909 Hiland... it was full of Roof rats. I offered to help pay for the exterminator, they declined & went a cheap ineffective route...Sherry tried to make me believe the rats were squirrels, she changed her story once again, I started taking pics...Sent a damn maintenance man with a bottle of peppermint oil... I reported them to the city of Beverly Hills...15 days later they sent me a letter saying they weren’t renewing my lease...and were selling the house. Had to move when I wasn’t prepared... They leased it out again...

Found a house we absolutely LOVED. Everything went smooth and our income and history were fine, but they neglected to ask the owner about their pet policy until after we paid the application fee, even though we were very up front about our pets. They ran our credit, took our money, and called our references before even speaking to the owners. We requested our money back, but of course they did not cooperate. Definitely be cautious to work with them or just steer clear!

Big waste of time. $100 just to tell me i didnt have enough rental history. I know i have at least 5yrs or more rental history as well. To top it off the house wasnt that great either and in a bad part of town. Felt like a scam if you ask me
