Awful experience.   The nursing staff doesn’t communicate with each other or with the family.  They do not know what each other is doing.  They do not follow doctors' orders.  They don’t follow-up. I️ would not recommend this place to anyone.  They forced my mom out of the facility.  She had swollen feet and legs and could not care for herself.  We took her to another facility and found she had pneumonia.

My mother was at Heartland and we will NEVER be returning. Absolutely horrendous experience. Nurses and aids do not communicate with on another and do not communicate with the family. I feel horrified that my mother had to endure that before we could get her transferred. Would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.

This is the worst rehab as far as nurses and aids. All meals are served to you cold or not what you ordered. The aid sue stated to me that she was not the cook and that was not her problem
.you can push your call button and get no respounce
The nurse would rather stand in the Hal talking about what they did last nite .I would never agree to come here  again from Ford hosp..their rehab is very good. It is just the poor quality of people they hire for the food preperation...aids.....nurses 'll rehab

My father was in this facility for a month for rehab purposes. The therapists (OT and PT) were great and really worked with my father to regain his strength. However, the nurses and aides were less than desirable, except for 2 of them. They hardly came in to check on my dad, and when he needed help with something (which wasn't often) he was met with attitude. This includes the nurse coordinator on his floor. It is a shame because the facility is beautiful and the therapy is incredibly helpful. But the rest of the staff ruins the rating.
