Heartland just installed a beautiful new roof.  That makes the wife happy.  The lifetime warranty and the price made ME happy.  Clean up was great and those guys are hard workers!  I recommend them to everyone that needs a new roof.  They know their stuff!

Heartland is the best!  They did all of the communicating with my insurance company (I don't have to tell you how annoying THAT is), and made sure that I had everything that was needed.  I have a lifetime warranty and a pretty new roof.  I highly recommend them.

Very poor customer service, let trash in my yard and after the recent storms peices of roofing blew off and still waiting for ghem to repair it. Dont use very dis-satisfied.

I agreed to have Heartland Roofing's name appear on a hail damage settlement check from my insurance company with the understanding that Heartland would do the roof replacement. BIG MISTAKE! I had been previously assured by Heartland they could install ANY brand of roofing system on my roof. They also gave me assurances they had the "best warranty in the business" and claimed an A+ BBB rating. After researching the various shingle and manufacturer's warranty options and Heartland's claims, I was disappointed to find out that Heartland was only fully certified with GAF and partially certified with Owens Corning. I carefully compared roofing systems and determined that Certainteed offered the best system for my home and the best MANUFACTURER'S warranty. Since Heartland was not certified with Certainteed, I could not get the manufacturer's warranty through them. The Heartland "lifetime warranty" is a joke. Read the fine print, compare warranties and judge for yourself.
They claim 45 years in business, but if you check their contractor license history you'll see a different story. They don't even operate under the same contractor license they advertise along with their A+ BBB rating claim. Check the facts for yourself and determine the worth of their "lifetime warranty". When I tried to cancel my Heartland contract, I was told there was a 33% cancellation fee. This was not stated in the agreement itself. After getting lawyers involved, we finally agreed on an out-of-court settlement to dissolve the agreement and get my insurance money cleared to have another contractor replace my roof. Unfortunately, the customer invoice I got from Heartland was for work NOT performed. Obviously they make customers by any means possible. Bottom line, steer clear of Heartland Roofing and do NOT sign an insurance agreement with them. The integrity of your home is not worth the risk!
