Story

Portland's premier comedy club, bringing great talent to an intimate theater. Patrons can enjoy live comedy from a national headliner performing no more than 60 ft away. The show will last about an hour and forty minutes and will include an opener, a feature, and a headliner with national TV credits. Helium is a non-smoking facility where patrons can enjoy a full service bar and kitchen providing delicious appetizers in a relaxing atmosphere.

Love this place. Great comics in an intimate setting, good food and nice bar. Friendly staff too. Best part is that the shows are reasonably priced!

Read the fine print in the hidden venue policy. Forced purchase of two food/drink items. They have no trouble telling you this after you've purchase your nonrefundable tickets however..

Puff is awesome.  This was our second time at the venue.  Great setting for the shows. Would be nice if the lounge had more seating. The drinks and food where pretty good also.

Do much better than all of the other comedy club options in Portland. Food, drinks and service ate also great. They are prompt to seat you and prompt with service, even when they are totally packed, which is hard to pull off. Best part is they get top name comics too! 

I wish their comics would lay off the pro drug comments and highly partisan political references. I guess they figure it's Portland so what the heck? But there is still a fair percentage of the audience who could be offended by that stuff. And there just isn't any reason to go there. This is probably the only reason I wouldn't give them 5 stars - is because every time I've gone here, at least 2 of the 3 comments make heavy reference to drug use and politically divisive topics. 

I'd leave a picture but they don't allow pictures in there.

Great venue for a date. Had a great time. Wait staff was thorough and courteous.
