This used to be a great place, I grew up on these hills, but now the city of Whittier and the park rangers who administer these hills have killed the beauty that belongs for all to enjoy. The new hours and how they enforce them are nothing short of dehumanizing. I was recently locked in here and the park ranger made it a point to give me a citation, a white blonde blue eyed lady went on a power trip to the point of almost macing me and putting me on my knees. Keep your children away from her.

I made it 1/2 way to the top but its definitely not for beginners. It was a challenge to get up there but we made it. Also, as you get higher the trails are a bit narrow so keep a close eye on your kids if you take them with you.

Nice hike with very steep parts or easy mild trials just pick which way you want. Heads up tho there is no parking ever n at 5 they will lock you in if you are parked or even if u just walked in they r ruthless with timing. Instagram@ Knoxville the fluffy dog

Been coming here since the late 90's Always a good cardio work out. Or maybe u need to get away and think. In any case great place for a walk, hike, and or jog. Enter on green leaf. The trails have been modified from years past. Starts of with very killer steep trails......Down side is parking. Even though they added parking spots.....sometimes u can't find one. And btw no parking on turn bull canyon rd entrance. those been eliminated.....sucks but I guess the residents had enough of all the traffic and people showing up. Also no bikes and seems like they are strictly enforcing all the rules and regulations as posted.

The trail is fine. The hours W ridiculous. Plus, when it rains, even drizzles, the place is shut down for 48 hours. I get protecting natural habitat, but this is pulls country. Puent Hills Conservancy, let us have fun in these hills. They are not that prescious. Donate some of your funds to protect Yosemite.
