It is a beautiful trail and there's lots of wildlife. It also looks like there's a good variety of trails for different levels of hiking. The big problem is that it took about the same amount of time to find parking then walk to the trail; you need a permit to park near the trail, so I recommend finding out how to do that before you go.

First hill is the only challenge after that getting to the water tower is easy only thing is I wish they were open earlier

i am a beginner on the hiking scene. this is actually my first trail that i visited and actually hiked. this was such a positive experience that i am planning on picking up hiking as a hobby. I would highly recommend coming here. the only bad thing here is parking is semi hard to find so plan ahead.

I love hiking here! Such a good workout and I definitely sweat 💦 but can they PLEASE make more parking!!🙏🏼

NO PARKING!!! The trails are great, but no parking near the entrance. Parking about 5-6 blocks away so plan accordingly.. Not open til 9am.. $175 fine if you hit the trails earlier 😡 BTW.. Hellman is around the corner off Greenleaf. There's parking there, but gates don't open till 9am. Limited parking... Get there at least 15-20 before 9am.
