Being able to go to a peaceful little river and waterfall amidst the hustle and bustle is very relaxing. South mountain reservation is a great place for hiking or the dog park. However, hemlock falls is a well known hang out at night for drinking and partying. There is tons of broken glass everywhere and trash.

Don't expect to see some spectacular waterfall. It's just nice to listen to the water running down the rocks.

This is a local hike for me. I don't get tire of it.the only turn off are broken beer bottles and dog owners who don't leash their dogs.
