A great place to see animals or to hangout. Considering it's size it has a large variety of animals. The peacocks run free and you can chase them ;)

They no longer have the came and zebra listed as being there. No public restroom. Kids liked it so they got four stars. Not enough to see for the drive, but free is free. Wish they had more info on specific animals.

Nice place, donation for entry. Not as big as expected since we made a 2 hr trip to get there. If you are in the area anyway I would stop by. FYI no bathrooms or port a john

This place is great! We have an 18 month old and it was perfect. Very casual, not too crazy busy like the zoo can be. Good chance for him to see many of the animals he's been learning - cows, goats, deer, chickens, etc. Signs say not to feed, but if you catch the workers during feeding time, they are happy to give you carrots, celery, etc. to give to the animals. All the reviews that say it smells bad are ridiculous. It's a petting zoo. It's not going to smell like roses... We will definitely be back. It's free too, but of course you should leave a donation. Great place!

Henry's Ark. I wanted you to be SO awesome. We'd heard of this awesomeness from a number of people and finally found time to visit. We had heard about some exotic animals, including ostriches, buffalo, zebras, camels, and even a giraffe. First thing's first: If you don't know where you're going, it's very easy to miss. Not because you can't see it while you're driving by, but because the driveway sneaks up on you. There is a lack of signage until you're right up on it, so the driveway takes you completely by surprise. In fact, I passed it and had to back up about 50 feet in order to pull in. Once inside the gate and after driving over the cattle guard, you're in the middle of the parking area. There is no structured parking, just a large area. It's a short walk to the animals, and as soon as you enter you see signs about not feeding the animals, and signs asking for donations... and to be generous with your donations. One almost immediately gets the feeling that you're not visiting Henry's Ark at the top of its game. As if it is but a shell of what it used to be. There were plenty animals. Bison, goats, ostriches, a couple of beautiful peacocks, chickens and geese, llamas, alpacas, rabbits, and many others. A good selection, to be sure, but no sign of the kinds of things you really want to see, like zebras, camels, and a giraffe. A quick conversation with the person who was feeding some of the animals revealed that they had gotten rid of them, but no specifics were offered. We were admittedly disappointed that none of the exotics we had come to see where no longer there, but you can see that, in its heyday, this was a wonderful attraction. There are a large number of signs soliciting donations, both monetary and material. Being a private attraction, this makes complete sense. I get the feeling that the Ark has fallen on hard times, as many attractions of this nature have in the last few years, and now must rely on the generosity of the public to stay afloat. We were very generous with our donation, and I hope that others are as well. You can tell that Henry's Ark was once something really awesome. I'd love for the tide to turn so that this could be awesome again.
