Story

We are a non-profit working marine animal hospital. We believe in preserving our environment while inspiring the human spirit through leadership in the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of marine life; environmental education; research; and conservation. We are also home to Winter the dolphin and the Dolphin Tale films!

It's amazing!
I go here a lot and I would recommend it to a lot of people. The gift shop and tickets may be expensive but that's because they have to pay to keep the business alive and to keep the animals alive.
The staff is also amazing! They are so helpful.
Again, I would recommend it for everyone. Wouldn't you agree?

It's a marine hospital that visitors can come observe. My girls and husband and I loved it.  We could have spent all day here but had to get on the road home.  We of course went to see Winter and Hope and loved the sea turtles and otters too.  Super friendly staff and volunteers.  Next time we will schedule more time!

The staff is so passionate and friendly. The animals all seem happy which is nice to see. Things are a bit pricey but its all going to a great cause. Even the short shows have a lot of interaction and fun packed in. There is a trolley that takes you to both locations which is fun. I recommend the dolphin show and feeding the puffer fish!

I want to start this off by saying, my rating is based on this being more a marine hospital than an aquarium. If you come in with that expectation you will have a much better time. 
My kids really enjoyed seeing Winter and hope and being able to learn so much about them and other animals. They have many different learning opportunities for all of their residents. 
We also took one of the boat tours which allowed us to see wild dolphins and help the staff with scientific research. I would recommend doing one of those along with your visit.

I had a behind scenes tour from David Yates. This wildlife rehab is one of the best facilities I have ever seen. They are saving so many lives. I myself run a wildlife rehab and we all get NO State or Government funding. So, partly you're paying for the rehabilitation of our native sea life that has been  virtually  destroyed by us humans!  I'm all for not getting to close to Hope and Winter. They need only their trainers. It stresses them out seeing strangers in their space. In the wild they can just swim away, in a tank they can not. I have seen the new project that is being built for them and it is huge. We are all trying our best to save the wildlife and putting  facilities like this one down that trying so hard is just not right! They do not do shows or stress out the animals like SeaWorld!! David Yates does not believe in catching healthy animals and putting them on display in tanks for the public.  The animals he has there would not survive on their own in the wild.
