Amazing selection and prices. I shopped around for a sapphire engagement ring, not a common piece, and nowhere else in the Iowa City or Coralville area had anything in comparison to their selection on hand. I was able to share my idea with Lisa who, very patiently, helped bring all the aspects of it together into one ring. The total price for the band, stone, custom fitting and hand engraving was almost half the price of just the stone at all the other places and the stone I got at Herteen & Stocker was even larger by about 50%!! I could not believe it! Best experience I have ever had at a jewelry store! I will never shop at another!

My fiancé and I have had such a wonderful experience with Herteen & Stocker. Two years ago we decided to plan for an engagement. I am sentimental, so the pressure was on to find the the perfect rings to wear forever. With so many choices and factors to consider, we needed some education and guidance. We were excited, but our interaction with the first jeweler felt insincere. The experience seemed very sales-driven instead of the client-centered approach I was expecting. Our experiences with Herteen & Stocker have been extraordinary! My fiancé and I worked with Kate to find the perfect engagement ring and wedding bands. She took the time to listen, answer our questions, and engage in thoughtful discussions to incorporate our personal lifestyle factors, interests, and budget into the selection process. We valued her genuine service, kindness, and expertise. We highly recommend Herteen & Stocker and are happy to be their clients!

Going to Herteen & Stocker was an excellent experience. Kate was wondering to work with. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and sincerely cared about helping me find the perfect engagement ring - unlike other places I visited, who only seemed to be pushing for a sale. I had a specific idea in mind, and the Herteen & Stocker team delivered down to the finest detail (and all within the price range I had established). Will be going back in the future to shop for those anniversary gifts!

Hello there, allow me to tell you a story. Since our first date I knew Shannon was the one I wanted to share my entire world with. I also knew when and where I would pop the question, on the next trip to Disney World and in front of Cinderella's Castle. I'd get in trouble if I did it anywhere else. But what I didn't know was where to find THE ring. You know the one she's been dreaming of her entire life. We started looking at engagement rings one weekend, just for fun I told her. Couldn't give away the surprise. We looked at some very beautiful rings at various locations, however there was something different, something special about the little, family owned shop on the corner of Washington and Dubuque in downtown Iowa City. I'm talking of course of Herteen and Stocker. A wonderful showroom, knowledgeable staff and the friendliest customer service is what you will experience I promise. The thing that stood out to me though and made me feel really comfortable was how excited Kate was and how geeky she was about diamonds. I learned so much and after spending a few visits just talking to her and her family, I felt like we had been long time neighbors. It was such a magical experience. One Shannon and I will never forget. Every time we visit Iowa City, stopping in to say hi to those who made this memorable will always be at the top of the to-do list. Thanks again.
