Everything went pretty well until I brought the car back. The rental which cost me about $200 when I first picked it up, ended up being over $800. When I called they said they charged me for smoking in the vehicle. I quit smoking almost 3 years ago, and I doubt my 4 year old picked up the habit. Plus some other nonsense charges they couldn't explain. Including one they said would be refunded (never was) one of the worst experiences ive ever has with hertz.

Just called the fond du lac facility.   I call bulls hit on the 8 dollars a day rental.  She said she has no idea what I'm looking at.   False advertising and marketing. During winter months they offer only offer this, suggestion  then don't advertise it.

NEVER AGAIN!!! DON'T GO TO HERTZ!!! THEY OVERCHARGED ME! THE CAR THEY RENTED TO ME STARTED TO FALL APART AS I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY AND THEN THEY TRY TO SAY THAT I HIT SOMETHING. THANKFULLY I WAS SMART ENOUGH TO TAKE PICTURES YOU CAN CLEARLY SEE THERE IS NO DAMAGE TO ANYTHING THAT I COULD HAVE CAUSED. THE ENTIRE WHEEL WELL IS FALLING OFF AND BEGAN TO FALL APART WHILE I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY. I HAD TO HAVE SOMEONE DRIVE 70 MILES ROUND TRIP TO PICK ME UP BECAUSE HERTZ COULD NOT GET ME A NEW CAR UNLESS I SOME HOW GOT TO ONE OF THERE OPEN LOCATIONS OR DRIVE WITH THIER TOW TRUCK PEOPLE THAT DIDN'T EVEN SHOW UP UNTIL THE NEXT DAY AND I WAS 35 MILES FROM HOME. THEY CANT EVEN TELL ME WHAT ONE OF THE CHARGES THAT WAS CHARGED TO ME THE DAY I PICKED UP THE CAR WAS FOR.THEN THEY CHARGED ME AGAIN FOR MUCH MORE THAN THE AGREED ON PRICE. THE WOMEN I RENTED THE VEHICLE FROM COULD NOT TELL ME WHAT THE FIRST CHARGE WAS FOR AND TOLD ME THE SECOND CHARGE WAS BECAUSE I HIT SOMETHING. WOW!!!!! I HIT NOTHING!!!! I HAVE A PERFECT DRIVING RECORD AND THINK BY THE PICTURES THAT I AM POSTING WILL SHOW THAT THERE WAS NO EXTERNAL DAMAGE TO THE VEHICLE. I WAS WARNED ABOUT HERZ BUT I USED THEM BECAUSE I'M A AAA MEMEBER. THE WOMEN AT THE RENTAL LOCATION SAID SHE TURNED THAT MATTER OVER TO HER BOSS JOE IN APPLETON WI. I STILL HAVEN'T GOTTEN A CALL BACK. SHE MADE IT VERY CLEAR THAT I DIDN'T NEED TO CALL AND BOTHER HER WITH ANYTHING ELSE SINCE HER MANAGER WAS GOING TO TAKE CARE OF DEALING WITH ME.
