With no reservation, Hertz managed to get us a car and went through all of the problems because we had a foreign card (considered debit card). Very helpful and loaned car in perfect condition.

I rent vehicles often and this trip is going to make me choose another rental company unless I can get a full refund. The pick up was easily the worst. The hertz rep was so slow, asked the same questions repeatedly. This caused me to be late. Additionally, the car was damaged and given to me with only 1/4 tank of gas. When calling the help desk I got routed three different times to someone who could only make a note on my account. They told me to go to the customer service counter when I drop off. When I did that they told me to go to the website instead. 

Begs to ask, how much money would hertz save if they just automated their entire terrible customer service?

Scott Kellenberger the manager trainee was very professional and friendly. I am a cardiac patient at nearby Stanford hospital and they picked me up. Thank you Scott! Also thanks to your other associate very friendly and helpful also :)

Shame on you Hertz. Your online reservation system allows me to schedule a vehicle pick up when this office is closed.  I scheduled a pick up for 4 pm on Friday. But the office closes every day at noon. Thank you for wasting my time and money. Off to Enterprise to rent the car I was supposed to pick up from you. 

P.S. I'm a Hertz Gold Plus President's Circle Member. That means I rent constantly from you. No way to treat a customer, especially a loyal customer.
