I had to pick up a rental car and get to work on time, and despite being short-staffed, Tony had me out of there with a car in just a few minutes. I got a good deal on my weekend rental, too. This location has afterhours drop-off. It's behind the lobby of the Loews Hotel on Highland.

I think we were served by Cassandra? Not sure, but the name started with C :)
She was helpful, explained us several times what we were not able to understand, that not US citizens must get the LIS, it is a law in CA.
We were given more expensive car than we booked, when notified her, she has changed it to our rate car.
Otherwise it was OK experience and I would use them again.
How to find their office in the hotel? Pass the reception on left side and behind it there is a sign-to turn left ;)

Tony is awesome. He was on his lunch, but the other employee had stepped for a quick minute so Tony was the only one in the office. Still without hesitation he took care of the rental process for me and even went and got the vehicle for me. He went above and beyond what he needed to do especially because he was on his lunch and didn't have to do any of this. Lord knows none of us want to be bothered on our lunch time. That's our time  to chill and decompress. So Thank you Tony! 
 To the management I expect you to reward him either with a good pay raise during his review or a gift card .. something. Take care of the employees.

As far as central Hollywood car rental locations go, this can’t be beat. Entry is from within the Loews Hollywood Hotel – you cannot get there any other way. 

At pick-up the details on their system didn’t match my printed reservation – there was a different drop-off time and I was told there was a balance to pay – I was adamant my printed reservation was correct and the guy at the desk (not called Tony) couldn’t understand what was causing the discrepancy - it’s difficult to tell if it was his fault, but it did take him over 15 minutes to sort everything out. 

No matter what, I would say that the guys who work here need to learn “service with a smile” and offer a higher level of customer service. I was given no instructions on the car whatsoever, just thrown the set of keys.  
If picking-up here, you’ll need to do a U-turn in parking-lot and then you’re straight-out into heavy Hollywood traffic so you’ll need to be comfortable driving on the right-hand-side. 

After pick-up I’d no issues and drop-off at LAX was a breeze, so I’m rating this largely on the convenient location
