Worst car rental experience ever.  Agent was unfriendly and couldn't care less.   Car was defective, when I returned he wanted to charge me $10 a gallon for gas since tank was half empty.   Agent didn't show any interest in what was wrong with the car.  It was dangerous to drive and he didn't care.    I told him I was going to Enterprise for a much cheaper car.  he said "you get what you pay for."  Yes, I got a great car from Enterprise for 2/3 the price of Hertz.

This place is a joke. Started out with driving into the "Rental Car" lot where the dilapidated offices were locked. No sign to tell you to go next door to the "Car Sales" office. We have to walk around the fence and go next door to see where we need to go. When asking why they didn't have a sign they said "It gets stolen every night." Are you serious? Takes us 25 minutes to get checked out being the first in line and having done everything for the reservation prior to our arrival. Go to check out and they had charged us for car insurance coverage which was more than the rental itself! They argued we signed for it when in fact we never signed anything! MAKE SURE THEY DONT SCREW YOU OVER TOO!!! Horrible experience. I will never use this location again!

Yesterday we had a reservation (made in September) for December 26th at 6 pm we arrived at 5h55 it was close. We call the customer service they told us that they couldn't help us tonight but tomorrow somebody will call us the next day. Nobody called. We went back to the pompano location. They told us that the no longer had a car for us. They never call try to contact us or to call another rental car company. Worst rental car experience ever. We had some reservations already made for our vacation in Florida we had to cancelled everything since we didn't have any transportation.
