Bad customer service, very rude and overpriced. Take your money somewhere else. The group that rides on Saturday morning have a total disregard for safety. Very rude will not be coming back ever.

This bikeshop (GM bikes) is closed, at the same location is a new bike shop under new managment named HG Bike Shop (Hialeah Gardens Bike Shop) do not get confuse by the bad customer service of the old store out bussines because of it. Now HG Bike Shop is all about the really good customer service, friendly and always with good attitude to help customers.

I'm sorry to hear the below customer had such a bad experience. I love that place and was actually there the day they brought in their bike and while I do not see it the way they do, I understand that it may not be what you are expecting when you meet a shop owner who's only interest is making sure you and your bike get what you need instead of making money off of you. I believe they've mistaken her honesty and passion for bikes as being horrible customer service? Every time I have gone she has only tried to help me AND my bike to make sure I am getting the service and care I need. If you are looking for a store that is only interested in making money off of you I can suggest tons of stores for you to choose from. My husband and I, in the beginning went to several different stores and have wasted so much money on things we didn't need only because the employees never bothered to take the time to care about us, or our bikes. We have bought expensive lights, and pumps that are not for our bikes all because the employees were only interested in making money instead of being honest, and telling us the equipment was not the right equipment for our bikes. All that came to an end when we stepped foot at GM Bikes. From day one that crazy blonde lady gained a customer for life and has even encouraged me to become healthier by riding with me on Saturdays. When I have fallen behind she has been there to push me, and I have only known this shop for 2 months!! I have never seen a shop owner go out of her way the way she does for her customers and the same goes for her mechanics.

Absolutely Terrible. Please never go to this shop. Here is what happened to me - I dropped off my bicycle to have my rear rim trued. The mechanic there told me it would take about an hour to fix and that he would call me when it was done. I dropped it off on my lunch break and so I told him that I would be back after work around 6 (the shop closes at 7pm). I never recieved a call, so I headed over after work and arrived at 6:15pm. To my suprise the shop was closed, door was locked, and all of the lights were off. I knocked, tried calling, emailing, and even facebook, yet had no response. After waiting outside for 20 minutes, I left unable to go bike riding that day. I never received a call the next day, so I stopped by on my lunch break. When I arrived my bike was ready. I asked the lady why I never received a call and why they were not open at 6:15. To my dismay the lady told me that I was lying and that she was there the whole time. Even after I explained that the lights were off and the door was locked, she would not budge. Her supervisor was sitting there the whole time on his phone and his only response was that she called him at 8:30 so she must have been there. Finally the lady, while still not admitting guilt, told me "well what are you going to do" to which I responded "No, what are you going to do?". She then laughed at me and turned to the supervisor and said that I was clearly lying to try to save the $19 it cost to have my wheel trued. She then asked him what he thinks she should do and he said to her "what ever you think" and then went back to playing on his phone. She finally charged me $15 and I left. I have never been treated so poorly. I understand if something comes up and you have to close early, but then to lie to me the next day and accuse me of lying to save a few bucks, that is unacceptable. On top of that the supervisor clearly did not care one bit. I will never be back there and encourage everyone to avoid this shop at all cost!
