This place is amazing! If you want to get away from all the hustle and bustle this is the perfect place. It is an amazing getaway. We had our wedding party stay here and they were all in shock as to how beautiful the lodge was and how great the service is. Perfect place for escaping, relaxing, hunting or fishing! Will definitely be going back. Wish I was there right now!!!

We have stayed at the lodge several times. We just love it there! its very clean, quiet, and comfortable. its almost like visiting relatives...It's not quite home but feels like it. My 9 year old niece loves to come out and stay when we are there. She gets to "chase pheasants" and shoot her bb gun. and she is as welcome as any other visitor. The owners are fantastic and inviting, again, it's about like visiting relatives. I will keep coming back. In fact I will be scheduling our rooms for pheasant hunting today! If you haven't been to Hidden Hill, come...its worth the drive. Marc and Tammy

Due to a reservation snafu at our usual family reunion spot, we needed to find a new place. Hidden Hill Resort was available and we scheduled it. What a wonderful place!! It was all that the web site showed and more. The accommodations are wonderful, the Sandersons are GREAT and we had all that we needed. Roy Lake State Park is close enough, that we could pack up the kids and spend the afternoon swimming at the beach. I cannot say enough good things about our stay a Hidden Hill.

What a great secluded location for a lodge! It felt like pulling up to a ski resort - the place is huge! A prime location for hunting and fishing. I most enjoyed the trap shooting competition. Good people, good food, good fun.

What an amazing place!! Myself and 8 buddies were looking for a weekend getaway to relax and do some waterfowl hunting. HHL not only provided exactly what we were looking for, it far exceeded any of our expectations!! We showed up to a warm welcome that made us feel right at home and instantly knew we were at a one of a kind place! The Sanderson's were very accommodating and easy to sit down and visit with. Carla & Liz treated us to some AMAZING hors d'oeuvres followed by a steak that was the best most of us had ever eaten. We topped off the first evening with some cocktails and a few games of cards and billiards. Saturday morning we got up early to hit the fields and they already had coffee and a warm breakfast waiting for us. I swear the HHL staff never slept. The guides (Lorrie & Len) had everything set up for us and put us on some great spots. It was very cold that day and after spending the morning in the field, the lodge’s big hot tub and a warm bowl of chili was a treat to say the least. We filled out the remainder of the day watching football, shooting numerous boxes of clay pigeons, several hundred rounds of pistol and rifle ammo, and some more evening hunting. Although we were positive Friday evenings meal was unbeatable, we were proven wrong when we were treated to a 5-star prime rib dinner Saturday night. The food at HHL is absolutely exceptional! The night extended in to the early morning hours as we lounged in the game room with some beverages and great conversation. Sunday morning was filled with more good duck and goose hunting. It was definitely difficult to leave after getting treated like kings all weekend. I could write pages of how great this place is, but trust me, you want to check out Hidden Hill Lodge and experience it yourself!! Thanks again to the Sanderson's. We will be returning more than once (with more friends that can't wait to come after hearing how great it was)!
