This place is amazing with wonderful and a staff that works with you to out together a very individualized party. It is beautifully decorated and charming. The food was more than delicious. I cannot believe I did not know HideAway was in the area! Wonderful good, drinks, atmosphere and people.

Truly A Blessing!
My husband and I stayed at hideaway country inn for our three night honeymoon stay! We first want to say THANK YOU to the staff at the inn especially chef Rex and can't forget about Rita his beloved dog. Our first night here was our wedding night, upon arrival to the eagles nest which was an upgrade thank you very much! My hubby and I came in to find rose petals scattered throughout our room and  heart shaped rose petals on our very comfortable king size bed! We enjoyed our first night relaxing in the huge Jacuzzi tub for two sipping on moscato (which we highly recommend) with fireplace a blaze! Our second day here we enjoyed our breakfast brought to us in a picnic basket which was great so we didn't have to leave our room, and there are not enough words to describe how delicious our food was. Later in the day we had a couples massage (which we highly recommend as well).It was so relaxing and they were amazing!!! Then chef Rex and Rita brought us our dinner in a basket which was Superb!! Can't express how great chef Rex is and how great our food was! Our third day here we started off with breakfast in the manor house which in fact was more delightful then expected! Later on we got all dressed up for our candlelit dinner for two (highly recommend!) Our dinner was phenomenal my hubby had the porterhouse and I had the salmon we couldn't even eat it all , but it was a Perfect evening! We had our first dance as a married couple in the library which was romantic! To sum it all up this place is a hidden gem with spectacular staff! We will definitely be coming back again soon and of course telling everyone about it! THANK YOU again hideaway country inn, with a sincere Thanks to Samantha for making our three night stay unforgettable!!

Me and my husband  planned a romantic getaway for a night at the hideaway bed and breakfast, well atleast that’s what we hoped for! I’m not one to complain but this place is horrible! We arrived at 4 on Saturday the lady at my the front desk was very nice she showed us and around then to our room  (Carpenter room) thats when everything turned bad! They did not mention what so ever that they had well water until she showed us our room!  For future reference they should  have that Advertised.people might not be able to bath in that due to sensitive skin or allergies. Well water  smelled horrible also left dirt looking particles in the  In the tub!  They offered one water scent pack for water/smell that limited to one bath! Which I was not happy about! If you wanted another one you had to pay for it! The  jacuzzi tub had knobs missing! The room didn’t seem to nice considering we paid 241 dollars for one night!! We went done stairs for dinner we sit down the waitress gave us a cup of water, we looked over the menu and decided we did not want what they had. Very expensive menu by the way! We told the waitress they we were going to go else where she made sure to yell Wendy’s is down the road which I took as a insult! I feel like this place is noting but money Hungry  place the more you spend the nicer they are too you! I felt they are very judgmental people, we thought a place like this is suppose to make you feel very Comfortable but instead they judged us on our Appearance! I definitely will never come back here nor recommend this place to no one!!! Definitely should have read the reviews before we decided to go!!

I will start with the good things about this place. The Hunters Suite was adorable, the bed was really comfortable. The room was clean. The hot tub was amazing. Having Netflix was a plus. Staff seemed very nice. I really wanted to love this place and we tried very hard to but it was just not easy. The negative things overwhelmed the good parts unfortunately. The food was not good, we ate there the first night and we were just not impressed. They were short staffed so the service was really slow even though she was trying very hard. Breakfast is extremity over priced for a cold fruit pastry, 1 orange slice, 2 strawberries, some blueberries, and a slice of soggy lukewarm quiche with 2 pieces of cold sausage links.  There is no breakfast menu and you don't get told what you are being served before they bring it out. It was not enjoyable. We decided to find somewhere else to eat for the remainder of our weekend.. which if you want fine dining you will be making an hour drive to the closest place. We went to Cameron's in Columbus - it was absolutely amazing. Saturday night we had a couples massage booked. This was the last thing we had to look forward to after everything else had been so disappointing. We called to check up on our massage time and were told to expect them to come to our rooms and get us anytime. They never showed up. We paid a substantial amount of money for a couples massage and extra money for a romantic package that goes along with it. And they just never showed up. No communication, no coordination. So disappointing. This was valentines day weekend and our anniversary, and every bit of romance was ruined by lack of customer service. The only good thing I can say is that Samantha did everything she could every time we were disappointed to apologize and try and make things right. Which is the only reason I am giving 2 stars instead of 1. If it hadn't been for her we would have left and gone to a hotel - we were that upset. We were refunded for the massage package that we did not receive and offered some other things as well. Which was a little redeeming. We had been looking forward to this weekend for weeks and to be this let down was just terrible. The ball was dropped so many times - and I didn't even mention them all in this review! :( With some better customer service and staff coordination this place could be amazing. I hope that things improve for future customers who trust Hideaway with their special occasions.

**to the owners response to my review - I tried to be nice**
Let me correct the owner’s response for everyone. Hideaway scheduled a massage for us Saturday night at 9:45pm. We arrived, staff member misinformed us on check-in that our massage was Friday at 8:00pm. She then came back and told us she was wrong and it was Saturday at 8:15. Which made us have to rearrange our plans on Saturday evening. We called to let them know we were running a little behind at 6pm and to see if we could push it back to our ORIGINAL time. They said it should be fine and they would call back. Never called back. We did get back in time, we called at 8:15 (the time we were scheduled for) and were told to wait for a knock on the door. The knock never came. We were told we should have called again. Because when you pay $420 dollars you should have to make sure people do their jobs here apparently. Rich. 
We were in no rush for breakfast actually, we had nowhere to be at the time and we got to breakfast at 10am, actually. We were not the only people complaining about the food at breakfast. But clearly the owner doesn’t mind lieing and making up her own facts to make herself look like the victim in all of these reviews.  
Do not apologize for your actions while blaming it on others and your customers. You might as well not apologize at all because you don’t actually think you or your employees are doing anything wrong. Which is wrong. You guys messed up, and with the prices you charge for things your customer should be able to ask or request whatever they need and not have an issue. The customer is always right.

This place is so gorgeous and the staff is so nice all the rooms have a theme .. There is a bar and you can eat there too .. The bar and the dining room for food is open to the public .. I hope this helps so everyone knows about the HideAway Inn..
