Great sushi, relaxing and comfortable atmosphere. Great service. We live across the street and finally checked Hikari out, glad we did.

I went there with a friend and ordered 2 shots of tequila and two entrees and paid 67.00's. The food was luke warm and came out fast to us which surprised us. We were thinking hibachi doesn't come out that fast, plus there was no real presentation. Just a scoop of rice with shrimps and vegetables on the side. The tequila was strong and cheap if you ask me, especially if I'm paying ten dollars for a shot. We won't be back to say the least. H st is overrated, only for the implants that come from outside of DC.

Ash our server was amazing, he had lots of positive energy. Sadly the food was nothing like the service. The sushi was tasteless and the scalop hibachi was swiming in a very salty sauce and the fried rice was dry. H street food is always disappointing!

Service was quick and friendly, got my hands on fatty salmon which was delicious (pictured below), prices were reasonable and overall quality was great. Will be eating here again.
