Fado is a good Irish pub which generally feels kitschy but still avoids feeling corporate. The bartender's are friendly, and the beer is cold. It's exactly what you expect when you think of an Irish bar.  

The reason the bar got 5 stars was because of how accommodating they were. We wound up there after they stopped serving food and they not only allowed us to go out and bring in food, but brought us plates to put the food on.

Great food, great people, cold bevies, what more do you need? I have tried just about everything on the menu and it's all good. Favorites: chips with Rose's sauce; black and blue burger; chicken pot pie; I could go on all day.

The Metro is basically across the street so you can easily get home after happy hour with your work mates.

Good food, good atmosphere, terrible servers. Was eating in main area when we were told that a private party had booked the area and we had to move. No problem. Relocated to a new area with our dinner and was immediately told that we had to get up from our table and stand out in the open and eat our dinner standing since we "weren't paying customers" anymore since we had already ordered. Come here all the time for Caps games. Will look elsewhere in the future.

A causal place with nice Irish food. Good prices and a nice old time atmosphere. Be aware that this is mainly a bar place. So if you don't like the smell of beer or the people don't come

It's a nice Irish pub. It's very cozy with friendly staff. Good pub food, be sure to flip over the menu for seasonal  dishes.
