I've always liked this state park. We've been camping here every year for the past 6 years. I would have loved more/better bathroom facilities. It will help families with younger children. The people in the park that I've dealt with in the past have all been reasonably friendly. We sometimes see deer here and the stars are amazing! This year we went there to watch the Geminid Meteor shower. We weren't disappointed.

Great lake with nice camp sites and Marina. You will find primitive tent sites as well as camp sites with full hookups. Here is a few lake view pics from one of the tent sites.

Some decent camping spots. Not all of them shaded. I think most of them have a fire pit and one picnic table, ours did. Good size lake, jet skis and boats allowed. I liked it and will probably be back someday.

Such a great place to go boating, swimming or just having a BBQ with people. We went to the swimming beach and our group really enjoyed ourselves. The lake was really nice

Campground(s) would be nice if people didn't make it look like a trashy park. People staying across from us had been there almost a month. Things EVERY where outside their campers. Campground host had NO clue how to do parking pass and sent us to another campground host to get a tag...well guess what. The second group of host at the other campground didn't know how to do it either. And they were actually counting money when my spouse went to ask. The lady came outside to ask if we needed help, while the guy inside the "hut" said, "What the hell does he want?" Seriously, the worst campground HOST ever. We ended up paying for a tag online because NO ONE knew how to do their J-O-B. If you want no shade, rude host, and a trashy campground this is your place to go.
