Horrible experience! For the price that it costs to watch a movie at a theater, you would think you could watch your movie and not have all kinds of noise! Not even half way through the movie, employees were cutting up in the lobby. They were all so loud, you could hardly hear the movie! In my opinion that was ridiculous and very uncalled for! First time and the LAST time we will ever go to this theater! We will happily drive to Norton, VA to watch a movie from here on out! Paid $40.00 dollars, thinking we would actually be able to watch and hear the movie....yeah, that didn't happen!

I feel it needs renovation or a new location/building. Parking is a hassle, the decor makes the place appear creepy and unprofessional.. The screens, chairs and floor need replaced or heavily cleaned. Since it’s the only theater left in Hazard, I feel some funding is needed to give the community a more appropriate place for family entertainment. Anyone I talk to says they’d rather travel to Norton WV than go to hillside, which is sad cause it has potential just needs better maintenance.

Very nice theater! Great price for 2 tickets, popcorn and drink for 24.00$ you can't see a movie anywhere else for that...
