The property is conveniently located right off the Downingtown-Pennsylvania Turnpike exit. It is a little difficult to get onto the property through the first entrance because it's a shared with the entrance for the soon-to-be campus. Your better option is to go to the 2nd entrance which is for the hotel only. Plenty of parking is available for vehicles of all sizes. Rooms are clean and the whole property as a whole is. The hotel's restaurant stops serving breakfast at 11:00 am and does not serve lunch. The kitchen does not open again until 5:00 pm. There are a decent amount of local and chain restaurants in the area. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful.

Overall fantastic staff. Super helpful. I had to check in at a different time than my other guests and the hotel was super helpful.

The bar area was nice. Service was a little slow, but it was late. Sounds like the rooms were nice, but we just stayed in the bar area. The person in our group who was staying there had some concerns about the WiFi speeds.

Reserved 3 for Mother's Day brunch. Food was good, service was terrible. No one came to our table after being seated. I had to ask the host to get a server to visit us. After receiving drinks, the server never visited us again until we needed the check. No one came to provide more water, coffee, milk or juice. Used plates were not cleared from the table. I had to ask another server to clear them since our server never visited. It took nearly 10 minutes to get the check back after giving the waitress my credit card. She was standing around instead of getting the cashier to process the payment. I don't care if the server was new. If that was the case, then she should have been trained properly and it's management's fault that she wasn't or management should have provided her with help. I was a waiter when I was younger and it doesn't get much easier than doing buffets. All you have to do is keep an eye on the table, clear it when needed, make sure everyone has liquid, bring the check and process it. My blood was boiling while we ate because of how upset I was about the service. The other tables' servers were just fine, which made me even more upset. I was going to talk to someone in charge about it, but it probably would have been loud and unpleasant, so we got out of there as fast as possible. The price was $134 for 3 of us. I left $10 in tip, even though I didn't feel any tip was deserved. I made comments on my check about the terrible service and how we are never coming back. My credit account looks like only $10 was charged, so maybe the hotel read it and didn't charge us for the meal, which is a very nice gesture, but no one has tried to reach us about this, even though they have our phone number from the reservation. We live within 2 miles of this hotel. Although the food was fine, a hotel should totally be on top of good service. After our disappointing experience, I will not be recommending the Hilton Garden Inn of Exton for their restaurant to any friends or out of town visitors.

Have your wedding party here at your own risk . It's basically that show the "Simple Life" as the rooms are average at best, except they have the nerve to nickel and dime you and your guests for everything... It came to my attention that they did not hand out our wedding gift bags to everyone. Also, my now wife checked with staff and was informed that the breakfast was complementary. However, we found out afterwards that this was not the case. I guess by complementary they mean $12.99 and very poor quality. Needless to say this made for awakward conversations with family and friends. Thanks again for nothing and never again.
