Historic Rosemont Manor is the former home of Virginia Governor and U.S. Senator Harry F. Byrd, Sr. The senator invited U.S. Presidents and celebrities to find respite at the manor. The Byrd family’s ownership spanned from 1929 to 1997.
In 2009 the property was purchased by current owners William and Barbara Genda, who opened the manor to the public. Historic Rosemont Manor hosts weddings, bed and breakfast stays, corporate meetings and guests for afternoon teas throughout the year.
