I am so glad my 5 year old son is going to Holden Martial Arts. He is learning self-defense and getting some energy out, while learning respect, discipline, and good sportsmanship. The teachers are great. Miss Collins is firm but kind, exactly what my son needs. They also have Parents' Night Out which is a great experience for the kids and parents alike. I highly recommend Holden Martial Arts!

My daughter loves the staff and the atmosphere at Holden Martial Arts! She has learned so much since being there. The staff is very welcoming and helps you with everything. We have had birthday parties there and they are fantastic.

Holden Martial arts is a great place for kids to learn Kenpo Karate. My son and I take classes there together and it's really fun. My son loves that I take the class with him, it's a great work out for myself, and the talk to the students about respect, manners, good eating habits, listening to teachers and parents. Even for myself it's nice to be reminded of these good habits. 

The teachers are very friendly, the students are treated very well. Most all of the students are good-natured, I've never seen someone get hurt. There are kids with learning and physical challenges in the class, and they are treated very well and enjoy the classes as much as anyone else.  

My son has attended a "parents night out" and had a great time. If you're interested you should call and schedule an appointment, I think you can go to a few classes for free to make sure that your kid likes the classes before committing, which is kinda nice.

My son and I both take classes at Holden Martial Arts. I take one family basic class with him during the week and attend an adult class on the weekends. The facility is great (airy and clean), and every member of the staff is welcoming, enthusiastic, and kind. 

My son is on the asperger's end of the spectrum, and karate is an ideal activity for him.  The instruction is clear and orderly but fun, and each class ends with a discussion about behavior -- for example, respect, responsibility, or health. 

The adult class on Saturdays is my weekly escape. I get a great workout and a chance to focus on something other than work or being a mom. I _highly_ recommend Holden Martial Arts to both adults and kids.

Good place for kids to learn to respect, to focus and to self defend.  
It would be nice if there is a staff at the booth/reception more often to be able to assist visitors or if parents have questions.
