We were initially placed in the first floor room directly next to the elevator and closest to the pool and reception desk (114 - respectfully, I'd reserve this room for profoundly deaf individuals). We gave it a try for 20 minutes or so, asked to be moved, and were relocated to an upstairs room that was much quieter. Aside from that, the room was clean, the air conditioner worked well, and it was an uneventful stay. Uneventful is good.

This is a decent hotel. It's starting to show its age. My biggest issue was we got the room directly across from the elevator. You do not want this room if you plan on getting any sleep.

The advantage this hotel has over others of similar price/class is their breakfast. Truly good clean tasty food. There's also a pool and common bathrooms nearby (you don't have to go all the way to your room to use the restroom if you're at the pool) I was, however, disappointed with their tendency to cut corners when it comes to cleanliness and maintenance. Overall the hotel is clean and in good condition, but there were hot Cheetos scattered in my room on the floor, so clearly nobody vacuumed after previous guests. There was also alot of dust on surfaces everywhere, so the room doesn't get dusted either. As far as maintenance, the front door was broken. It didn't close all the way, so there was always a huge gap letting light and sound in from the hallway and every time I closed it, it bounced right right back open, so I had to close the door slowly and then jerk it to shut all the way. Actually the first time it happened, I didn't know the door does this, so I walked off thinking the door shut behind me when in fact, it was open the entire time I was gone. Luckily, I was only down for breakfast and not out for the day. Also the bathroom door lock was broken, which is actually more common than people think. I usually stay in hotels that are around $100/night range, and I've only seen one instance where the bathroom actually locked.

(Lengthy, sorry.) We booked oyr rooms more than 2 weeks out. It's all the notice we had for making the regional baseball tournement. We were put on the first floor as were were part of a "group". 9 families/10 were put together on 2nd floor. We called an hour ahead to check in and were told our rooms were ready. The male at the front desk told us "there was an issue with housekeeping...but we could move the next day..."then swiched his story to we could move up in the next 5 mins. We have small children. Why block off 10 rooms on the same floor for our group, tell us they're ready but not? And, at the time, only 6 of our families checked in. Why not ask us to wait if the rooms were not truly ready as stated? Other than that, free breakfast was good, even healthy options such as egg white omelets, Turkey sausage, fruits and Greek yogurts. Also had regular omelets, cinnamon rolls, cereal, bagels, toast, pancakes, juices and muffins. Room was clean. Pool was freezing cold, but clean. Free cookies in the afternoon. Less than 10 mins from the baseball complex, Whole Foods, Cheesecake Factory and several other neat places. However, this hotel is not worth 100.00 plus a night due to it's lack of helpfulness, only one washer/dryer (washer leaks water...big safety hazard), etc. If we pay to stay anywhere, we want to feel the staff hoes above and beyond. We did not feel that way here. (Bring your own wine opener, they only had a screw driver to offer me to open wine. Bring extra quarters if you need to do your laundry past 5pm. They only have 2 roles...and were not offering to go get the ones from the machine. 😩)

Comfortable bed, satellite TV, wireless not fantastic but useable. Walls are paper thin and doors are prone to slamming on accident, but I had no trouble sleeping through the night.
