I really wanted to give this place a 5 star.  
The bar is good, the drinks are great i had lemon drops. The food menu and breakfast buffet is good. The decor is nicely done and the rooms were well appointed and clean. House keeping in the room was great. 

First two nights were great. 
Second two nights swiftly went downhill. The hall way was not vacuumed so therefore was littered with pieces of paper and plastic. 

There was no hot water for two days. The third and check out Day the water was trickling out of the faucet so slow it took 20 minutes to get 2 inches of water in the tub so i could splash and take a bath, but hey at least this time it was hot! 

I did advise management there reasoning was

When a lot of people on the same floor use water at the same time they run out of hot water....🤨🧐

There are a lot of kids that are there and it’s hard to keep Hallways clean. 

Note posted on front desk that water would be turned off... didn’t someone try to call your room. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤯🤯🤯 
Those 5⭐️⭐️✨ they will never see evaporated with that last answer.

Where can I start with this hotel? The beds were very comfortable to sleep in. There were plenty of soft pillows for you to cozy up in the bed and just relax. The room had a nice, beautiful view from your window! Very quiet, peaceful ambience at this hotel. The staff was helpful, polite, and eager to please!!! The hotel has a restaurant that serves farm to table cuisine. It was delicious. Although I ordered room service and they forgot to send my home cut fries with my order, they gave me a credit for the mistake and sent up a hot plate of the fries even after I told them that it was fine. Will definitely be staying with this hotel again when I travel to this area!

Nice hotel, clean room and comfortable bed. Has a nice indoor pool and hot tub, exercise room (limited wright selection but usable). A nice restaurant and bar on site with a very nice staff.

I have stayed at other Holiday Inns in KC that were better than this one. It is my understanding that it is a newer location for them, and being so I would expect them to cater for their guests better. This is the First hotel I have stayed at with NO USB connections in the room for charging devices, very inconvenient, not to mention the small room size. It felt like lower quality materials were used in the room. Disappointing..

Very bad experience. My company reserved a room for me. I was given  key (cards) but keys were not working. I went to front desk and told them key is not working they give me new keys but keys did not work again. I called them they sent some one he just opened the door with his key and  said get new keys from reception. When I went to reception to get new keys he said what happened now its your second time you came for keys as it is my fault. Then he came with me to the room when we were going to my room another lady complained that her keys are not working. My keys did not work again then he used his key to open the door. When I asked for key he said our engineer is not here now only he can fix it, you can sleep now if you wanna go out for emergency I will open the door again. It took almost an hour to replace the keys and opened the door. 
I will never go to Holiday Inn again.
