Our favorite place to go camping. Very family friendly and if you can get in on the "Hollyween" events, it's even more fantastic. The area is always kept clean. There are projects and little things to do most weekends. Hiking, biking, and swimming are always a family favorite for us. The beach is kept very clean. We look forward to going here multiple times a year. Animal friendly as well.

Great trails! Had a wonderful time. Not sure if I would enjoy the campsites during peak season, but in the off season it was just us. I loved their bathroom. Walking distance and clean! I would recommend this place for sure.

Great place for day hikes, hanging out at the beach with family, and bird watching. I often use Holly as my base for road bike rides in the area. Plenty of punchy hills and a good mix of paved and dirt roads. The trail system has a good mix of terrain making it ideal for walks with the family song the lakes or a shake down hike for that week long backpacking trip.

OK, first off the park is nice for camping. Beach is real nice. If you are camping and end up at the McGinnis campground DO NOT TAKE SITE #4. It's basically in a hole w standing water. Other then that it's a nice campground. DO NOT PICK MCGINNIS SITE # 4..... YOU'VE BEEN WARNED

We LOVE Holly Recreation so much that this campground is our go to spot! We not only love to camp, but also kayak! Nice quiet park, although families camp with their kids, you don't hear kids screaming & being out of control.The bathroom/showering facilities are very nice & the park is maintained. It is nice to see many of the same faces (park employees), year after year! Feels like your up north!
