I go to this facility every year for my mammogram and I've never encountered any type of problem; it's fast ; staff is pleasant and my top wait time may have been 5 minutes; it's all around 5 star experience for a procedure that could very well be made very unpleasant. And it's in the parking lot of a bunch of stores so it doesn't seem as intimidating as say, a hospital setting which I try to avoid completely as I don't like hospitals. I like feeling as though I'm just running to the store as opposed to going to the doctors, as breast cancer runs high in my family, it's a nerve wracking experience from the beginning, this place takes away a lot of my discomfort about It in general.

Helpful staff very knowledgeable about procedures. I give this between 3.5 to 4 stars only because when you're in recovery nurses speak too fast for you to understand. Make sure you don't sign any paperwork until you can repeat what they said to you because after you leave it's on you.

Both my mother and I get our mammograms at Holy Redeemer Hospital 821 Huntington Pike location.  I cannot praise the staff enough, all of them, from the registering receptionists, to the technicians, they are fabulous.
They are very polite, very compassionate, and most of the time you don't have to wait at all. I used to go to Abington Hospital and every year it was a struggle with the rudeness of the staff at Abington.  I am very glad I switched.
The scheduling people however, need some training in compassion, and  patience, or they should work for Abington Hospital Mammography.
