Best Hummus in the world!!! It is my new favorite place. The owner is so nice, as are the other customers. Food is homemade and inexpensive. Vegan and gluten free options available.

Amazing food. Authentic. Hope they can grow a little to be able to serve more people at once, but the great service was a bonus to the amazing food! I am not vegan, and I loved it.

This experience was sadly disappointing after such rave reviews. Their hummus was no better than store bought. The Falafel was dry unappetizing and smothered in the secondary ingredients that are there to compliment it; and was skimpy in its serving size. For that matter all the dishes were skimpy. In their defense I am fairly well traveled and have had both hummus and falafel in this birth place so measuring up may be hard. However there are a number of local establishments, and an amazing NYC food cart, that do the job far better. The fries tasted like they were made in over used oil that should have been changed around the time of the pharaohs. The grape leaves were not bad but again becomes a case of there are better places to go. I think what makes the whole experience worse, yes aside from the sub-par food and the person cooking the food not using gloves of apparent hygiene protocol of any kind, were the prices. They hit me $6.00 bucks for two grape leaves half the size of a match box and a small McDonald's sized French fry serving. Needless to say there will not be a re-visit to this establishment.

Nice place to go if you'd like to eat vegan for a change. Lots of chickpea variations. Salad is good too. Not many seating choices, though.
