They did their job but had to argue to get damage boards replaced that were already pointed out before they started.

Nails and screws were left in the yard as well as roofing material, packaging and flashng.  I even found stuff that they hid; they went out of their way to hide lag bolts in a retaining wall.

It was not stated that they do not paint.  Now it makes sense but wish this was told to me just so we could of had this lined up.

They do not calk either; they concider that apart of painting.  Again, wish this was disclosed so we could have this addressed.

Gutters look great but how they terminate into our drainage system looks amateur.  It was suggested from them to put in cleanouts... again, why not tell me this ahead of time so i could have this done?

They did what they did well (minus cleanup) but it feels unfinished when whe had money to spend for everything (paint, calk, cleanouts).

Homemasters in Tigard the BEST.  I contracted them to fix a very leaky and dilapidated garage roof.  The roof was leaking so badly that there was water of 3 to 4 inches on the floor.  When they finished the roof, which ended up being a lot more work than they originally anticipated, the garage floor was bone dry!  Thank you Homemasters!

Best in town. 

They were able to clear my downspouts where other previous companies were not. Very helpful with all the rain we have been getting this year.

They also were able to review the condition of my roof and give me recommendations for preserving the life of the roof. Other companies won't because they just want your money.

Will definitely go to HOUSEMASTERS again when I need my roof and gutters cleaned.

I would definitely recommend HomeMasters in Tigard to anyone considering a roofing project. From initial estimate to final sign off the craftsmanship, honesty and integrity was outstanding.

In March 2016 I solicited 4 estimates for a large 1906 3-story house for a full tear off and new roof with HomeMasters being one of the most cost effective bids. It included a number of features other contractors did not including ice and water shield at all valleys and perimeter locations, over sized gutters and downspouts, integrated low profile roof vents and extended warranty.

The initial cost estimate was accurate with no additional monies requested. The complex project was started and finished on time with only a minor delay due to our Portland rainy weather. The job site was clean and upon completion of the work a few minor items were adjusted to our satisfaction - no questions asked.

The foreman was great to work with throughout the whole process. He did an excellent job interfacing with my neighbor. Upon start of the project he introduced himself and provided contact information so she could call him directly with any complaints. Ultimately she had no reason to call due to the crew's considerate nature.

I would like to particularly draw attention to the company's honesty and integrity. During the installation of the new roof the crew discovered what appeared to be faulty shingles with the granules rubbing off. The crew did not discover the issue until the shingles started to dry out after a recent rainfall. By now, half the roof had been completed. It was brought to the foreman's attention who immediately informed me of the situation. Prior to calling, he had already instructed his team to tear off the entire roof and start anew including membrane and ice/water shield. I know this posed no small issue for them and the associated costs incurred. I am not sure if other contractors would have conducted themselves in the same manner and I am very appreciative of their honesty and proactive way they handled the issue. I would definitely work with these guys again.
