The sales people here were very easy to work with, not to pushy at all and willing to work with you on price. I feel like my wife and I got a great deal and I had been looking around a bunch of dealerships in the area. When it comes time to buying our next vehicle I definitely think we will be starting here first

Once again Honda of Illinois in Springfield has disappointed me. I have given them multiple chances, and I always seem to get let down. They can't return a call, and when you do get someone on the phone, they are rude. Also in the past, they have tried to get me to get unnecessary work done on my car. As a customer, I don't expect to be treated like royalty, but I do expect quality service, which I can't seem to get here. So I guess from now on I will just go somewhere else for my Honda.

I reached out to this dealership for an initial quote on an Odyssey.  Customer care specialist Jenell Wilkins called me and after asking me some basic questions about my preferences she wanted to come into the dealership. I responded by asking her to send me an initial quote upon which she got flustered. She wanted me to bring in a competitor’s quote so she can beat it. I told her this would not be fair to the other dealership. Jenell got even exasperated and told me the best quote she could send me was the MSRP (in a loud voice). I proceeded with a thank you and hang up. Needless to say they have lost a potential buyer and I will definitely not recommend this place to anyone.

I went to Honda of ILLINOIS..for a recall part on my car.I made a APPOINTMENT..and they took my car right in. They had a Television  room and free snacks...plus cold drinks.Also, hot chocolate  and coffee.The service was very good and on time. The lady that check me in for my appointment...was very nice.I forgot her name..but she made me feel very welcome an appreciated  by Honda of Illinois.I will always come back to this Honda of Illinois...in Springfield.I will recomend this Honda dealership to all of my family and friends.If you need a Honda this is the place to come .

This dealership had a car I thought might be an excellent match for everything I wanted but I was not permitted to drive it to find out if I liked how it handled. It was a manual transmission, which I enjoy. It was my favorite color of white. My tall fiance fit into it comfortably. It was four doors, which helps us slightly older folks get in and out. I've had my share of practical cars in my 51 years but this Civic Si had both practical aspects and aspects that are fun.... maybe. I can't tell you if it was fun to drive because, like I said, I was not permitted to drive it. They wanted to know if I would BUY the car THAT DAY if I drove it!! Good grief. Nobody in their right mind would commit to buying a car without knowing if it truly handled the way they wanted it to. They were more interested in putting this car in the showroom to be viewed by others than selling it to someone who was interested, and who is old enough and financially secure enough to afford it. Of course, the finance manager never got into looking into my financial worthiness because the sales manager was too busy sending his poor salesman out to  deny test drives of the pretty new car. Well, I'm very capable of going somewhere where they care more about developing a good relationship with customers, not sending them away frustrated and disappointed
