I love this place. It's not perfect but I LOVE knowing what time I'll be in/out. Most styles include a wash (my hair was blow dried once too) and the stylists are professional. I've definitely recommended them to my friends.

I've been going here for years and love it. Very creative with styles and cute set up. The best part is never having to wait and you're in and out. Plus you get some good girl talk as well!!!

The atmosphere of this salon is very welcoming, energetic, and friendly. The stylist care about your hair and know what's best to keep it healthy. Cristina has been styling my hair for years and would never think twice about going to anybody else.

Absolutely NOT, NOT, NOT! 

I sent the stylist, Symonne, the picture of what I wanted in advance and  showed it to her again upon arriving at the shop. The image of a natural, TAPERED side and back cut that was full in the top. I tried to add pictures of both what I wanted and what I received to this review, but for some reason, I won't upload the pics.

Shaved one side and showed me what she did. I thought the shave was a little high, but  I thought...okay...SHE'S the professional. Maybe she can taper it last...NOPE! She scalped my head all the way around ( remember the bowl cuts white boys wore in the late 80's early 90's? Yeah, that's now she cut my hair. And now I've got to live with this mess for the next two months.

She must have JUST gotten out of cosmo school, because no professional would make this HUGE mistake. 

And by the way, the shop owner was there. I received no apology from anyone, no 'how can we make this right', no nothing. 

I am devastated and reminded why I don't trust or like salons. Have been crying since I left the shop. Sigh...off to the wig shop I go!

I started going to Shana 2 years ago, she was very patient with me before I decided to pursue locs (since I"m picky) I've continued to go to her over the years and I'm always pleased with her and Cristina's work.  I love how you're in and out and she doesn't do overbooking, so you don't have to worry about being there a long time.
