The line was crazy long the day before Thanksgiving, but that just speaks to how good the food is if you ask me. It was hard to get in because the parking lot was blocked off so I had to drop off my husband and I went and parked in the nearby CVS parking lot and waited. Surprisingly my husband said they were like a well-greased machine and really had their routine down, so they were able to move people in and out pretty quickly. We did place a reservation prior to coming. The food was a hit and easy to warm up and serve for the big day and it was nice to have some regular food as we were visiting the Disneyland park and it's always nice to have a good home cooked meal without having to eat at the park for everything. Bonus, I use the ham to make beans in the crock pot for another day. And man that ham makes the best beans, everyone loved the second meal we were able to make with the leftovers.
The service was great in getting the prime rib & tri tip frozen and a size I wanted. Much better than ordering online to have it delivered because you just never know what size you receive. Will definitely go back again
Thanksgiving pre-orders moved pretty smoothly until you got into the building. Luck of the draw what line you get out into. Could be a fast moving one or a super slow one. Would have been better just to keep it like a banker's line so we weren't all shoulder to shoulder with the person next to us even if we were six feet from people in front of us. The cashiers were nice and accommodating everyone. Took us 2 minutes to get our reserved ham, others they had to help understand the menu, take things out, put them back in, answer tons of questions, so much patience the workers showed!
I bought a ham and turkey for NYE. Really looked forward to not cooking and spoiling the family! The 3.5 ham had so much glaze on it, you had to smack it with a spoon to break it apart. The topping was inedible! Pure rock candy! The reason I pay the extra money for HBH is for the topping!!! So disappointed! Nobody ate the ham!!!
The only reason this is 3 stars is because the gentleman guiding cars around the craziness was drop dead gorgeous and kind... Otherwise Honey baked has no sense. It is the afternoon before Thanksgiving and there are two large honey baked trucks blocking 8 parking spaces,don't you think you could do this late at night or early morning,?!?! You have to illegally park in a no stopping zone. The line was psychotic- no physical distancing, inside they have 6 feet distancing in each line but you are standing right next to the coughing sneezing person in the other line, I can't! Stupidity abound!!
If the HoneyBaked Ham Company of California persists in utilizing the OnTrac shipping service and does not stop using the OnTrac shipping service, I will no longer order any products from the HoneyBaked Ham Company of California. ---- As of 8 pm on November 23rd 2022, the OnTrac delivery/shipping company FAILED TO DELIVER my package from the Honey Baked Ham Company of California. SHAME ON ALL OF YOU who work for the OnTrac delivery/shipping company!!!! Your tracking estimates are wildly inaccurate and incorrect. I am extremely upset and unhappy with the OnTrac delivery service and with OnTrac customer service. Does your company even care about consumers and customers?? SHAME ON ALL OF YOU at OnTrac!!!! Because OnTrac FAILED TO DELIVER my Honey Baked Ham Company package, I had to drive to the Anaheim store on the night before Thanksgiving Day in order to pick up my order.
Came during the holiday time to pick up dinner for Christmas. Everyone was super kind especially considering it’s crazy busy. They even had kind people helping direct parking traffic. Thank you for working today.
Just picked up my ham and turkey with sides. It was quick and easy. The lady that helped me was friendly and efficient. The parking was fast and easy. No waiting.
Clean and nice place to buy your holiday ham at. The prices are a bit more than usual, yet the quality is superb. Parking is easy and store can be found from the main street view. Inside the location is clean and the people who staff the retail location are friendly. Their is a deli inside for quick bites and sandwiches...ect.
Reserved a ham here for thanksgiving they told me to pick up on Wednesday 11/21 between 7am to 730pm and warned me that there would be quite a waiting time because it gets hectic i got off work early and the line was pretty long and it was pretty hot i was not very happy lol but surprisingly it went by pretty quick probably about an hour and the staff was great i got a bigger ham than what i reserved and they gave me a discount. This was my first time being here and will be back again in the future
