I opened an account two weeks ago with Horizon. During the entire process of opening my account the teller that help me was amazing she was respectful and personable, she made me feel like a member, and after I opened my account she guided me for I needed to do to apply for a credit card and get pre approved for a car loan because my old truck broke down and I needed a car to get me to work. However loans aren't her job so I needed to wait for one of their loan broakers, which I ended up waiting for over an hour and she gave me maybe 10 minutes of her time because she was to busy to help me today so she was going to notify me the following day, and I understand that I'm a young adult at the age of nineteen however I've had politicians give me more amounts of their time. Too do this day I have not obtained any such notification of if I got approved or not. So over the weekend my mother had to drive from olympia so that we could go car shopping because I couldnt wait any longer fof horizon to get back to me. I was not only able to get a approved for a car loan but was able to get low interest as well, however that was through a different credit union. So I today I withdrew my monet and closed my account because I refuse to trust my money somewhere that treats me with such disrepect.

Never had a problem. If you pay attention to the rules (many of which aren't their rules, but federal),you'll have a great experience.

TWICE this ATM has not dispensed my entire withdrawl. The first time, the teller just said " we don't handle that. Call YOUR credit union".
The second time, a month later,  I was told "yes, that happens a lot, but we're going to work on it". 
Yes, there is a process to get my funds reinstated, but the fact that they have waited over 30 days to repair a machine that is adversely affecting their customers, says a whole lot about how much they care about you.

Went in to withdraw some cash and as always one of the tellers were so friendly... I thought it was because I was cute, but regardless who it is, they have always been so kind. Every year when i check my account they slip some extra into my checking too, so having hcfu has its benefits... ;)
