This insurance company needs a complete redo or just plain be eradicated altogether. I work in radiology and it's flat out unacceptable that they take 1-2 weeks and sometimes longer to review a case for an authorization. Patients get upset and need to cancel their exams more often than not. How do you make patients who are in pain or potentially have a serious health condition wait that long to get a test done? Are you understaffed? There are cases that get denied even if the patient has severe chronic pain or if there was an abnormality found on a prior exam. For a company that barely pays anything you would think they wouldn't be so hard to deal with. Patients, avoid having this company as your insurance carrier if you can. 0 Stars.

I got this insurance because I was only making 200 dollars a week working part time. Although they covered most of my costs while I had this insurance one day I got a letter stating that I was employed at another business at the complete opposite end of the state. I then called them and they said that my social security number showed my employment at this business that I've never heard of. I then had to personally call this place and they told me they had no record of my social. So I had to go to the ER one day because I couldn't go to my regular doctor since this insurance never asked who I wanted as my primary care. When I was at the hospital it read that my insurance was CANCELLED! They cancelled my Insurance without telling me because apparently I made too much for the insurance but I only had the one job. Now I have much better insurance through my full time job and I'm stuck with a large hospital bill. Thank you horizon no health for really screwing me over.

They have not updated their provider website. The phone numbers listed do not work, Physicians listed no longer participate in the New Jersey Family Care programs or the Physicians listed have opted out and there are other Physicians not listed. This is causing me to want to switch to another hmo immediately. Ten years & I've never had a problem. I dont know what's happening but I am disappointed, and will begin my search for a new hmo.

Customer service is horrible. I worked on job nearly 40 years. I had to cut my due to my health status therefore losing my health coverage. Associates do not update information nor do they pay bills. I sent documentation proving I do not secondary insurance. I have been going through this since March 2015. .

Trash. Paying mortgages in premiums and still have to call about a $300 Check up visit not covered. At a 1k per month why am I still needing "approvals" just to get a consult? . Im so sick of this experience i'd rather just take my chances with death!
