The food here is both delicious and an excellent example of the sweetness inherent to the cuisine in south central PA. My grilled cheese had sliced apple in with the bacon, and the vinegar based slaw had both carrots and a little sugar.

They are not kidding about the "slow food" thing, though. It was the kitchen, not the service, but there was a wait. Just soak in the ambience and maybe go browse the food shop.

The food is amazing and extremely fresh! The eggs were delicious-can definitely tell they are right off the farm. The sausage and pumpkin/squash lasagna is out of this world! The cheeses had great flavors and combo was terrific. I would go here again in a heartbeat

Certainly plenty of food, I wanted to like it. I ordered the gyro bowl, nothing at all like a gyro, which was fine I guess, it was supposed to be beef and lamb, I didn't taste lamb...the meat was well roasted and tender. I didn't care for the vegetables at all. They were charred and tasted all the same. They needed to be cooked more or less, they were a rubbery charred mess. The lamb had a very strange flavor. The cucumber sauce was delicious. The presentation was very good. It is supposed to be farm to table and maybe it is...i didn't see much on the menu in way of where the raw ingredients were sourced. The only mention by the server was they didn't have lemons I requested for my water because they couldn't be sourced locally and they were all used for the lemonade...say what? They have plenty of good reviews, maybe I hit it on an off night.

Jensyn could use a little bit of attitude adjustment. This comes from a patron who has been visiting since before you became the popular spot. If we are not good enough to be in your restaurant, perhaps we will patronize others where they are happy to have us as their customers.

My favorite restaurant in the Bedford area. I always make sure to stop when we are out at our cabin. Unique, farm fresh and organic. You know you're eating not only incredible food, but high quality locally raised food. This place is a must stop for anyone in the area. Well worth a special trip also!
