We were looking to purchase more flooring from our local supplier, but wanted to "insure they were competitive." Keeping it local and supporting our local economy........ is an important consideration for me. Since we knew exactly the product we wanted I found Hosking on line. Hosking was quick to quote and quick to reply to my questions about delivery cost and availability. Saving 15-25% sounded good. I gave my local supplier the option to re-quote and they said they could not reduce their price. Ok - I would take a risk and order on line. The transaction was perfect. We did experience some minor damage from the freight company and we have a small claim with them. Saved about 15% on 1600 sq. feet. Nice work Hosking. A very smooth and efficient transaction.

First of all have to say Hosking Hardwood in every way has exceeded our expectations!! From online browsing experience, very competitive pricing, quick ship, customer service, through final fulfillment, I couldn't be more impressived. You've earned a customer for life. At first, we were shopping locally for a floor but prices were higher. I started browsing their site and the quality and professionalism of the information is so helpful when you are buying a product that frankly I had little knowledge about...they made the content easy to understand and accessible. Then I compared their prices with the local competition there was no question plus everyone quoted 3-4 week delivery hosking had it to me in 4 days. WILL Recommend to anyone I know!!!

My fiance' Hilda bought the Kahrs three strip red oak engineered click and lock floors on a Sunday and we had the floors in Florida by Thursday. The floors are of high quality and were very easy to install as a floating floor over underlayment. They click together easy and so tight you cannot see where one plank comes together with the next. The planks are 7 ft long and about 7 1/4 or so wide so installation is fast. We are very happy with the price and quality. They sell these locally but we saved about $600 purchasing them from Hosking which included the shipping to the local carrier and then to our house. I would not hesitate to purchase from Hosking again.

Got hardwood brand that was not expected. Initially was turned away by their customer service but eventually I was able to return it and get a full refund. My situation has been amended.

Flooring arrived in damaged boxes and the boards were too short. The boxes had been opened and picked over then resealed. The owner was very rude from the very start and would not take back flooring. He was ready to fight me right away-would not give an inch to satisfy a customer. After I complained to the BBB he offered to take back my flooring with a 30% service charge and $300 in shipping. The worst part is he accused me of trying to rip him off. Worst customer experience I ever witnessed. I'd be better off ordering flooring from China!
