I really liked this place for the most part. It's a unique historic building but it's upgraded to modern comfort standards for the most part. The price was very good, better than most other motels in the area. The rooms were clean, the TV was nice (full DirecTV including the guide, better than most hotels have), the bed was comfy. Breakfast at Denny's was good, especially since you get a free coupon for 2 pancakes, 2 eggs, and 2 pieces of bacon/sausage plus a drink. My wife got a coupon too I should add. It was more than enough to fill us up, and definitely better than standard continental breakfast. As for cons, well, the elevator, hallways, and rooms are a bit smaller than more modern buildings, but it was not a problem and I'm not complaining. Also only one side of the bed had a clock and outlets to charge phones. We had an extension cord so it wasn't a problem but it would be nice if they provided one.

The reason I took off one star is, our hotel room (407) was right next to the bright flashing lights of the sign outside. Even with the blinds fully closed, it was very bright inside and you could see all the flashing. I didn't have much trouble sleeping, but it was a bit annoying and I could see how people would have trouble falling asleep with that. They need to get blackout curtains or something, at least in some of the rooms. Other than that it was 5 stars, and I would come back.

The Hotel Nevada had a true historical atmosphere the Customer Care Services were amazing at the hotel. Denny's Restaurant was not as good as the previous restaurant they had years ago. The do not know the proper way to cook a steak. Medium rare came to the table well done although they tried to correct it the second steak was brought back raw with a two second sear on each side. I suggest staying away from order a steak. We stayed in a suite that was historically decorated Loved the hotel! Wheel chair accessibility available with ramp and elevator as well as wider isle in the casino.

The first stay was awesome, but since then the payout sucks and so does the employees! But the motel is great with lots of history! I will only go there for a quick stop. No reason to stay longer.

Fun place. Apparently this place is haunted. I had a good time, the Denny's really sucks here. It took 2 hours to get our meal. I'll probably be back

Service was very nice atmosphere is great. The rooms are a little on the small side in the bathrooms are definitely small. All that set aside still good place to stay especially for the price comes with a free breakfast from Denny's, pancakes, eggs, and your choice of bacon or sausage. The only thing I would change is having rooms with smoking available.
