Person who checked me in was a very fast talker and seemed dishonest. The door of my room had been broken down at one point. The weatherstripping was gone and the room was drafty. The temperatures were below freezing outside.The heater ran almost continuously and was loud. I plugged in a tea pot and the breaker blew. I was told to shut off the heater when using the tea pot. Shower curtain was not fixed to the inside of the shower and the floor got wet. Evidently a continual problem since the vinyl planks were loose as well. High price for a sub-standard room.

This stay was overall terrible, with the only redeeming factor being the front desk person was very friendly. I was shocked at how dirty the room was even for having laminate flooring (not carpet) that would easily be mopped and completely free of dirt and dust. In addition, although there were 2 of us and that was clear on our reservation, we were only given one towel. Also, the air conditioner/heater was very loud and was a window mount unit with one boarded-up window. This was not at all appealing. Lastly, the mattress was easily the most uncomfortable mattress I have ever experienced at a motel (and I have stayed at some divey places). Furthermore, we were only given 2 pillows, which is very strange for a motel/hotel accommodation. The bathroom had clear signs of moisture damage, as well as the flooring, which was very obviously buckling. I was shocked to find that with all the money Motel 6 spends on advertising such as TV commercials, the company can’t even afford to spend money on decent mattresses, flooring, and cleaning. The stay was easily the worst motel experience I have ever had. Although the overnight charge was only $60, which I am aware is low in the grand scheme, I still do not feel as though I got what I paid for, which amounted to a terrible night’s sleep on a long road trip and I couldn’t even take a shower because the bathroom was gross and there was no provided shampoo. I’m disappointed to see he absolutely low bar Motel 6 has set for itself, and I will probably never stay at one of your motels again. I would truly give 0 stars on this rating if it were possible.

Nice location, clean safe environment. I appreciate the pet area and not having to pay an additional pet fee. Nice updated rooms. 

Two things we did not like were the bed had creaky springs and sagged. It was uncomfortable and the pillows were kinda flat.

Check in went quickly. That was nice. Got to the room and the television had issues. Contacted front desk and within 10 minutes we had a working television. Service was quick and friendly. Good job.
