I believe myself and the entire wedding party that I was a part of were provided dresses of the wrong size. I provided my measurements which I can admit may seem like a different size, but when I wrote that I am a dress size 4 I should have never been provided with a size 10. In addition to the hundreds I spent on the dress I then had to go spend a substantial amount to get the dress altered to actually fit me. All of this was after being shoo'd out of the store after picking up the dress because an appointment to pick up (what's the point?) is different than an appointment to try on a dress. There was one person in the boutique and I still wasn't allowed into the empty dressing rooms after paying for my dress. I would never recommend this place to anyone!

My sister called over a week ahead to schedule an appointment based on the employee on the phone stating that they had a specific Pronovias gown. She had difficulty finding this specific gown all over the DC area, and was excited to finally have an appointment to try it on. She called again the day before to confirm they had the gown, and was told yes they did. The first thing the employee in this shop did that 'greeted us' was scold us immediately for having drinks. We had no problem putting our drinks out, but that's no way to greet a bride and her family when they're preparing to drop a significant amount of money in your shop. She then proceeded to open the dressing room door to show my sister the gowns she pulled, and the gown my sister called twice about was not in the room. When we asked about the dress, she asked to see a photo because she said she wasn't familiar with the dress. My sister pulled up a photo from their website of the dress, and she said 'oh yeah, I think we might have had that but maybe we sold it'. My sister then proceeded to tell her that she called yesterday and whoever was on the phone confirmed they had the dress in the store. She said she would look into it and went into their office. When she came out she said 'okay let's get to trying these on'. She said nothing about the dress in question, did not help my sister see what the long sleeve dresses would look like on her arms until prompted multiple times by family members and my sister. When we left there was no 'so sorry we couldn't help, or thanks for coming'. Nothing. My sister left crying at how disrespected and mislead she felt. I would never recommend this shop and their unhelpful staff , especially to someone trying to find a wedding gown for one of the most important days in their lives.

If I could give this business a negative one star I would. Their behavior was horrible!!!!!!! From the owner to the staff. The owner lost his objectivity and berated me as a customer after my complaint. I had a horrible experience at this store. Following my terrible experience I spoke with the owner only for him to add insult to injury by defending the negative behavior and poor attitude of his staff. He offered one excuse after another, and as a matter of fact the owner stated, that he felt that his employees "deserved a pat on the back" in response to my complaint of the horrible customer service that I received. This store did not value my business and made no apologies for the terrible treatment that my daughter and I received from their store. Their lack of care and poor customer service has caused my daughter to now be without a wedding veil and her wedding day is fast approaching. We should have been aware of this possibility ahead of time. We selected the veil at the time we selected the dress and if there was a danger in the veil not being able to arrive on time for the wedding date we should have been told. We were told that we had time to order the veil and that the worst case scenario would be that we would be able to purchase the store sample. We expected more but we have learned a valuable lesson. We should have read the reviews before we selected this vendor to purchase my daughter's Pronovias wedding gown. If I ever have to purchase another Pronovias dress I will contact them directly to have them recommend another one of their vendors. Always go where your business is valued and my business was not valued at this store.
